BioRolanda was born in Dresden in East Germany. Her father worked closely with the Muggle government as part of the Magic Ministry. Her mother worked in an Apothecary.
Rolanda attended the German School of Magic in Dresden, achieving reasonable marks in most subjects and excelling in Quidditch. After finishing school in 1966, she played Quidditch professional, until she moved to England in 1972.
Once in England she worked in Quality Qudditch Supplies and then played reserve Chaser for the Appleby Arrows. In 1976 she moved to Hogwarts to take the post of flying instructor and Qudditch referee, which she held until 2005, when she returned to Dresden for the 800th birthday celebrations.
